Quick answer

Two match modes, a social hub, a skill-ground, one ladder

Real Futbol X [PAID TESTING] runs 25-player servers (official, checked 2026-10-03). The announced structure around them: a central plaza as the between-match hub, training grounds with skill games for set pieces and finishing, traditional 7v7 plus a fast futsal-style mode, and an ELO ranked ladder — ten placements, three-division ranks, a top-100 cap. All of that comes from the developer plan reported February 13, 2026; the shipped build changes weekly without patch notes, so each system's live state is what the in-game menus show you today.

The full tracked list — gameplay systems and their documented detail.

SystemWhat is documentedStatus
Set piecesReported as the final major gameplay system. The preview showed selectable strike types (such as inside foot, low pass, and trivela), a contact-point selector, a run-up position guide, and a teammate call where the caller chooses to kick or fake and the called player chooses a short pass or a fake.Developer preview shown February 13, 2026
Central plazaA shared social hub between matches, compared by the reporting creator to the plaza spaces in NBA 2K, intended to give players more freedom between games.Announced plan
Training grounds and skill gamesA practice area where players train set pieces and finishing through a skill-games mode instead of full matches.Announced plan
Futsal-style fast modeA fast-paced, simpler small-sided format announced alongside the traditional 7v7, with its own ranked ladder. The exact squad size for this mode has not been published.Announced plan
Ranked and ELOA proper ELO ladder where points move on both the match result and the player's match rating, ten placement games, ranks made of three divisions each, and a top rank reserved for the 100 highest-rated players. Players queue solo or in parties.Announced plan
LeaderboardsSeparate ranked boards for the futsal-style mode and 7v7, plus stat boards for the most goals, assists, saves, and wins.Announced plan
Player customizationFirst-load choices: build, height, playstyle, kit customization, and gender. The developer said changes after selection require payment so the choices cannot be abused; cosmetics called set-piece styles (idle plus run-up animations) are unlockable separately and are not tied to the playstyle.Announced plan
Shop, crates, and tradingA daily and weekly shop; crates for cosmetic items with a direct-shop alternative for regions that restrict crate openings; and player-to-player trading of items and currency.Announced plan
Keybinds and settingsA promised 'complete new level' of keybind and settings customizability across all platforms.Announced plan

Deep dive

The ranked ladder, piece by piece

The system with the most documented detail — and the one worth preparing for.

Rating: result + performance

ELO points move on whether you win and on your match rating — a two-axis design that rewards passing, movement, and defending even in a lost cause. It is the announced system's clearest statement about what the game values.

Ladder: placements and divisions

Ten placement games set your starting point; each rank contains three divisions; the top rank holds only the 100 highest-rated players. Solo players and parties queue under the same system, with separate leaderboards for 7v7 and the futsal-style mode.

Boards: four stat races

Beyond the ranked ladder, leaderboards track the most goals, assists, saves, and wins — four roles, four races, so a squad has four different ways to matter on one board.

Deep dive

Set pieces: the system built last, on purpose

The February 2026 preview called set pieces the final piece of the gameplay puzzle — and showed how deep it goes.

The kicker's toolbox

  • Strike-type selection — the preview showed inside foot, low pass, and trivela as examples.
  • A contact-point selector deciding where the boot meets the ball.
  • A run-up position guide — your character lines up where the strike lands clean.
  • Teammate calls: the caller chooses kick or fake; the called player chooses a short pass or a fake, which makes set-piece routines a two-player conversation.

How to practice it now

The announced training grounds formalize it with a skill-games mode for set pieces and finishing, but the paid-testing build already lets you rehearse the real thing: run the same routine with a regular teammate until the kick-or-fake call is a habit. When ranked ships, a rehearsed routine is the cheapest edge two players can own — no currency, just timing.

Maps

Stadiums: one named appearance, zero documentation

What the record actually contains about places to play.

The February 2026 preview showed one new stadium that the reporting creator described as looking like a real one. No stadium names, map count, or venue list has been published for Real Futbol X — unlike the predecessor, whose venues are community-documented. If you are looking for a map list, it does not exist yet; the closest verified fact is the 25-player server size that shapes how venues play.

Undocumented

System questions with no published answer

Checked so the silence has a date on it.

  • A command or control list — keyboard, controller, or chat commands
  • Named maps or stadiums (one new stadium appeared in a February 2026 community preview)
  • A patch-notes archive (updates ship without public notes)
  • Futsal-mode squad size and rules — the format is announced, its parameters are not.
  • Whether the plaza ships with activities, shops, or as a pure social space.
FAQ

System questions

The six lookups that bring players here, each answered at its evidence line.

What game modes does Real Futbol X have?

The announced set is traditional 7v7 plus a fast-paced, simpler small-sided mode the community calls futsal — each with its own ranked ladder. What is playable in the current paid-testing build can change between weekly updates; the in-game mode select is the live truth.

How does the ranked system work?

Per the February 2026 developer plan: an ELO rating that moves on both the match result and your match rating, ten placement games, ranks of three divisions each, and a top rank reserved for the 100 highest-rated players. You can queue solo or in parties.

What is the plaza?

A shared social space between matches — the reporting creator compared it to NBA 2K's plaza. It was announced as a way to give players and the game's directors more freedom between matches. It has no documented features list yet.

How do set pieces work?

The preview shown February 13, 2026: choose your strike type (examples shown: inside foot, low pass, trivela), pick the ball's contact point, align your run-up with the on-screen guide, and optionally call a teammate for a rehearsed routine where the caller kicks or fakes and the receiver chooses a short pass or a fake.

What maps and stadiums are in the game?

Not documented. One new stadium appeared in the February 2026 preview, and the predecessor's stadiums are known — but no official map or stadium list exists for Real Futbol X as of 2026-10-03.

Why do servers restart so much?

The official description says so directly: paid testing expects incomplete features and frequent server restarting. The 25-player server cap (official API, checked October 3, 2026) plus weekly unpatched builds makes restarts the price of testing.
